Графичкиот и архитектонскиот дизајн се континуирано сукцесија на тестови, нацрти и обиди. Секој го знае и цени крајниот резултат, додека креативниот процес што го генерираше припаѓа на интимноста на тимот.
Abbiamo pensato di rivestire i muri dell’ACM GRAPHIC LAB di queste prove per documentarle rispolverando un classico dell’interior design: la carta da parati. Combinazioni cromatiche della stessa texture in sequenza e sequenze di spazi pensati per essere abitati e visitati definiscono un contesto ibrido: a metà tra luogo di lavoro e percorso espositivo.
Gli ambienti sono pochi e perfettamente riconoscibili anche se suddivisi in maniera effimera attraverso trasparenze, è il caso del vetro decorato tra lo spazio d’attesa ed il tavolo della meeting room e trame più o meno materiche, come la mesh poligonale che inquadra la printing room.
Quello che resta è un corridoio molto trafficato, collegamento tra il laboratorio grafico ed i locali in cui si stampano i film plastici per packaging alimentare, core business dell’azienda. I pannelli esposti nel corridoio hanno l’obiettivo di rallentare il passaggio, annullando la differenza tra i clienti/avventori e gli addetti/lavoratori e caricando uno spazio squisitamente utile con nuova energia pop!

An architectonic and graphic procedure is a continuous evolution of tests, drafts and tries.
Everybody knows and “loves” the final result but the design process that made it, belongs to the creative team.
We thought to cover the walls of the ACM GRAPHIC LAB by these attempts , by these pieces of paper, used them like a classical element of the interior design: the wallpaper.
Chromatic combination of the same texture, glued back to back, and sequences of different rooms, created to be populated and walked round, define an hybrid background; a mix between a workspace and an exhibition itinerary.
There are well-defined few rooms, even if they are only divided by transparencies, an example is the decorated glass used to split the waiting room from the meeting room, or by weaves like the polygonal mesh that frames the printing room.
What’s left of the Lab is a very busy corridor, a connection between the graphic room and packaging spaces, real core business of this company. We have hanged up some dashboards here to transform a junction in a space able to welcome clients, full of pop energy.
